The Quinn School was opened in September 2001 by owner and instructor, Erin Quinn, TCRG. Erin began her dancing career at age 5 with The O'Hare School of Irish Dance. During her competitive career, Erin won many awards at the regional and national levels. She has performed with many famous Irish bands such as The Chieftains, Cherish the Ladies, The Wolftones, Blackthorn and others. In March of 1999 Erin, along with other members of the O'Hare School, was invited to perform at the White House for President Clinton and the First Lady. She went on to perform with the renouned Trinity Irish Dance Co. and the Irish dance sensation, Riverdance, for several years.
After finishing her Bachelor's degree at Michigan State University, Erin opened the Quinn School of Irish Dance. The Quinn School specializes in competitive and recreational Irish dance. Over the last several years dancers from the school have participated in numerous competitions, festivals, and concerts. The school's goal to expose dancers to the fun and unique world of Irish Dance through performance, competition, and lessons.
